Fantastic house and grounds the owners are fab

Stopped recently and had the most fantastic week, what a place, well worth 5 stars 🌟 we didn't move all week we were either paddle boarding, out on the brother in laws boat or just chilling in the fantastic garden, so many different seating areas too. We had daily visits from what we thought to be a neighbours cat and the house is stunning. Thanks for offering such a wonderful place to stay.

The Boat house is without doubt five star, with every attention having been paid to every detail. The large garden and surrounding area is stunning. I would have given five stars overall but unfortunately the M6 motorway is only a few hundred meters away with a bridge crossing the river and the trafic noise is very noticeable when outside in the gardens.

Best place I've eaten my butties in a long time

The Boat House is beautiful holiday cottage in a lovely location right on the River Lune. The cottage itself is spacious and very nicely furnished and equipped - we certainly had a very comfortable stay. There are amazing views of the river from nearly every window. The garden is also very nice with various different areas for sitting and eating. The hot tub is a real bonus too. The location is great with easy access to walks along the river or into Lancaster. The pub in the village is also very handy.
